The Gold Hill Sports Park

The Gold Hill Sports Park is a place where families can come to enjoy the beauty of the Rogue River or recreational activities. It's also a great place for birding, rafting and kayaking. If you like stand up paddle boarding, you can do that too. Put your boart, raft, kayak, or SUP in at at the Gold Hill Sports Park ramp or near Ti'lomikh Falls.

CanDo has been active doing many projects at the Gold Hill Sports Park. We recently finished the second and final phase of the Tom Fish  Memorial Skate Park. This skate park was voted one of the best in Southern Oregon with its large bowl and other features.

There are many walking trails at the Gold Hill Sports Park. It is a popular area for families to walk alongside the beautiful Rogue River. CanDo's work also includes a new parking lot on Highway 238 where you can walk a trail out to Ti'lomikh Falls and Powerhouse Falls. Along some of the trail areas you are so close to the Rogue River that you can feel the spray of the mighty river on your cheek.

The two tennis courts were resurfaced by CanDo members. It's a great place for a game of tennis or pickle ball.

CanDo wrote grants and paid for the installation of public restrooms in the park near the newly completed dog park.
