In 2016, the CanDo hosted the grand opening of the Gold Hill Bark Park with many activities for dogs and families. There were obedience classes, information on licensing your pet, and even cake.
CanDo raised funds through local fundraisers, and donations from community members and dog enthusiasts. After researching successful dog parks in other areas, the park was built with two areas: one for large and the other for smaller dogs.
The Bark Park is a cyclone-fenced area with benches so you relax to the sounds of the mighty Rogue River while your pooch runs. Water is also accessible for your dog. …
The Gold Hill Sports Park is a place where families can come to enjoy the beauty of the Rogue River or recreational activities. It's also a great place for birding, rafting and kayaking. If you like stand up paddle boarding, you can do that too. Put your boart, raft, kayak, or SUP in at at the Gold Hill Sports Park ramp or near Ti'lomikh Falls.
CanDo has been active doing many projects at the Gold Hill Sports Park. We recently finished the second and final phase of the Tom Fish Memorial Skate Park. This skate park was voted one of the best in Southern Oregon with its large bowl and other features. …
